A list of the skills we work in our program;

• Crate training, learning the crate is an okay place to be.

• Introduction to leash training, being on leash with less resistance.

• Introduction to car rides in a crate. This helps to get puppy adjusted to future car rides which limits any potential upset tummies, potty accidents, and vocalizations.

• Practice accepting treats in a gentle manner. This is a key step to make continued training straightforward and painless.

• Practice playing and relaxing indoors while supervised.

• Practice greeting people without jumping on them.

• Introduction to playing fetch and trading what they retrieve for a treat or a different toy.

• Socialization - meeting new people, other dogs, and introduction to other animals​​

• Experiencing new environments. During the new environment phase of training we limit exposure to high traffic ground and other dog's/people until puppies are fully vaccinated (Example: Keeping puppy in the shopping cart at a store and asking people not to pet)

• Introduction to parlor tricks/commands ie. Sit, Paw, Down, Stand, Step. These are important to engage the mind and allow the dog to recognize some words have specific meaning.
